These Terms of Use apply to miamiartscharter.net, operated by Miami Arts Charter School, a public charter school governed by the Miami Arts, Inc. Board of Directors. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Use of the website
The website provides information about the School and its programs, lets families and prospective families contact the School, and links to services such as the Parent Portal, ticketing, and online applications. You may use the site for those purposes. You may not use it to send unlawful, abusive, or misleading content, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, to interfere with the site's operation, or to collect information about other users.
2. Information you submit
When you submit a form, you agree that the information is accurate and that you are the person it describes or are authorized to provide it. Submissions to the School may be public records under Florida law. See section 6.
3. Text messaging
Our text messaging program has its own terms, which you accept when you opt in. See the Text Messaging Terms.
4. Content and trademarks
The School's name, logo, photographs, videos, and written content on this site belong to the School or are used with permission. Student work and images of students appear with the permissions the School has obtained. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires the School's written permission.
5. Third-party services
The Parent Portal, lunch program, ticketing, school store, application system, tour booking, and similar services are operated by other companies. Your use of them is governed by their terms and privacy policies. The School is not responsible for their content or operation.
6. Public records
Miami Arts Charter School is subject to Florida's Public Records Law, Chapter 119, Florida Statutes. Email, website submissions, and text messages sent to the School may be public records available for inspection and copying unless an exemption applies. See our Public Records page.
7. Accessibility
The School intends for this website to be usable by everyone and works toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. 8. Disclaimer
Information on the site, including calendars, schedules, and event details, may change. The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Official notices from the School are those delivered through the channels described in the Parent and Student Handbook (opens in a new tab).
9. Limitation of liability and immunity
To the extent permitted by Florida law, the School is not liable for damages arising from use of the site or inability to use it. Nothing in these terms waives any immunity, limit, or defense available to the School under Florida law, including section 768.28, Florida Statutes.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
11. Changes
We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new effective date.
