Arts Ed International
ArtsEd International manages the admission and participation of international students at Miami Arts Charter School through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Student Exchange Visa Program (SEVP).
International students from any country may apply to join Miami Arts Charter School in grades 9–12. Seniors who successfully complete their senior year will receive an accredited American high school diploma and may apply to American colleges and universities for an F-1 visa extension.
Eligibility and Application Process:
- Students from any country are eligible to apply.
- All arts programs are open to international students, including:
- Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, Visual Art, Photography, Dance, Creative Writing, Drama, and Musical Theater.
- International students must apply online and complete an audition or submit an art portfolio for acceptance.

Visa and Enrollment Details:
- Upon acceptance, students will receive an I-20 form from Miami Arts Charter School through the SEVIS system to request an F-1 student visa.
- U.S. law allows international students to attend a public or public charter school for only one year. Miami Arts Charter School accepts international students for grades 9–12; however, they may only attend for one academic year.
- Seniors who successfully complete their senior year will receive an accredited American high school diploma if they meet all academic requirements, including providing a transcript from their home-country school.
Tuition and Financial Aid
- U.S. law requires international students to pay full tuition equal to the funding the school would receive from state sources.
- Scholarships, grants, and foundation awards are available based on merit and the school’s need for specific artistic talent.

Support and College Planning
- International students have full access to the school’s College Assistance Program (CAP).
- The CAP program helps students with college applications and supports them in extending their F-1 visa for higher education in the United States
