Procedures for Addressing Concerns
Procedures for Addressing Concerns
The school values its relationships with parents and families. When addressing concerns, our emphasis will always be focused on resolving disputes in the most positive and productive manner possible.
To that end, we have established a step-by-step procedure designed to increase the likelihood of positive outcomes that will benefit the interests of students and strengthen our relationship with stakeholders.
Step 1- Request To Be Contacted
Submit a request to be contacted through the available link on our website. The link is located in the main menu under "parents" by scrolling down to the pop-up link titled "Request To Be Contacted". To access the request form, CLICK HERE.
The contact request database saves your submittal and documents the date and time of your inquiry. This allows us to assess response times and ensure a timely response. Upon receipt your request shall be forwarded to the appropriate staff member. If necessary, a parent/teacher conference or phone call will be scheduled. The request database is checked periodically throughout the day, Mondays through Fridays.
Step 2- Administrator Contact- Ms. Carolina Torres, Assistant Director (Academics), Mr. Oscar Solorzano, Assistant Director (Operations and Safety), Ms. Valerie Barreiro, Assistant Director (Director of Admissions and Arts Administration)
Step 3- Contact a Senior Administrator- Christine de la Rosa, School Co-founder and Director of Education, Alfredo de la Rosa, Founder and Chief Education Administrator
Step 5- Contact with the School Liaison/Parent Facilitator
Step 6- State concerns at a scheduled Governing Board meeting.
Step 7- Contact the Charter School Office of Compliance and Support at the local school district
