Dual Enrollment Program


The Dual Enrollment program at Miami Arts Charter School allows students to take college-level courses through Miami-Dade College while still in high school. This gives students the opportunity to earn college credits, helping them advance through their post-secondary education while completing their high school diploma. Dual Enrollment supports our mission by encouraging academic excellence, preparing students for future success, and empowering them to explore long-term career pathways.


Eligibility Requirements

To participate in Dual Enrollment during the summer of 2025, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a current 8th–11th grader at Miami Arts Charter School.
  • Plan to remain at MAC during the 2025–2026 school year.
  • Have a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA.
  • Have completed at least two high school courses.
  • Have taken (or plan to take) a college placement exam and achieved the required score.
  • Be able to arrange their own transportation for summer classes or take them online after the school year ends in June.
