Welcome to Mrs. Bethel's Science class, I am a native Floridian and graduate of Miami Beach Senior High. I briefly attended Miami-Dade Community College to prepare myself for upper level studies at The Evergreen State College in Olympia Washington where I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science. It's has been a great opportunity for me to continue to utilize my teaching experience at Miami Arts Charter School.
My past time is spending quality time with family and creating jewelry. Teaching middle grade Science is a subject that I have enjoyed over the past ten years. However it's been a great opportunity to teach at Miami Arts Charter School this year. My passion is teaching because of the love I have for young people . It's inspiring and challenging to get young adults to understand the significance of Science. As a Science Instructor I feel committed to ensure that all students have some exposure to the wonders of Science, and to obtain the sufficient concepts of Science as it relates to their everyday lives. As I continue to in still concepts, the students will be able to continue to learn about science outside school, and have the skills to enter careers of their choice as they continue their journey of learning.
