We are thrilled to announce that the MAC Dance Program has once again achieved a Superior rating in the state of Florida.

This past weekend, 38 of our advanced middle and high school dancers traveled to St. Petersburg to participate in the Florida Dance Performance Assessment hosted by @fdeodance. This rigorous, four-part evaluation assessed ballet, modern, jazz, and African dance techniques, movement acquisition, and performance skills. Our dancers showcased their talent before a panel of judges from top college dance programs across the state.

As part of the event, our dancers also performed original faculty pieces in the National Honor Society for Dance Arts Concert. A special recognition goes to MAC Dance Senior and NHSDA Chapter President, Skyy Rivera, who was named runner-up for the FDEO Artistic Merit Scholarship Award.

We are incredibly proud of our dancers for their hard work, dedication, and excellence in representing our program at the highest level. Congratulations to all.
